She's good! She came home last night - usually they keep them until the next morning - and the epidural had worked so well, she was still completely paralyzed in her back legs. So we had to carry her on a towel like a corpse, and then lay her on her bead with her food in neck-reaching distance. I ended up hand feeding her beef burgers for dinner, and sitting in her bed for a few hours until she relaxed again. She bled a lot last night - mostly over me! lovely! - but she's dried up a little this morning. She wasn't able to go to the potty last night (couldn't stand) but this morning she has gone, and is obviously feeling better!
She's much more mentally active this morning, and I really had forgotten just how hard it was the first few days. Because she's my shadow and follows me everywhere, I have to stay in her sight so she wont try and walk after me - or else keep up a running commentary of what I'm doing if I move away for a moment. Ahh...give her a few days and it'll be easier :)
