Two things that made me smile today: A healthy breakfast of deep fried, fat drenched goodness at Hungry Jacks. I felt the need.

Secondly, and more importantly: I welcomed another little lost soul into my life today.

She's tiny, adorable, and Saffron's new BFF.

I'm yet to name her - suggestions any one? In keeping with naming my rats after herbs and rice, I was thinking of calling her Jasmine, but I'm unsure if it suits her. She has the most amazing markings due to her breeding, and is almost purple - she's a lilac hooded with a white stripe along her head. My brilliant photography didn't do her justice - and for some reason, I can't get the photo to rotate, so apologies for having to turn your head on the side for this one.

Isn't she precious?

And seriously.

I need some inspiration for food-ish related names.
